Accent

Description

Accent has 102 mm, star-shaped flowers with a deep salmon-pink corona. The broad, smooth perianth segments overlap by one-third, while the inner segments have wavy, deeply incurved margins and a nick at the shoulder. Its funnel-shaped, loosely ribbed corona has a straight, frilled mouth and crenate rim, and the flowers appear in mid-season. Accent received the RHS Award of Garden Merit in 1995, but the award was rescinded in 2012.
