American Goldfinch

Description

American Goldfinch has double-triangle flowers whose overlapping, smooth, ovate perianth segments open lemon yellow and mature to creamy white. The cup-shaped corona changes from soft lemon yellow to bright yellow, retaining green at its base, with a wavy mouth and crenate rim. This sweetly scented, late-blooming dwarf produces two to three flowers per stem, each about 46 mm wide.
