Aspasia

Description

Aspasia bears three to five scented flowers per stem, each about 64 mm wide, with creamy-white, very broadly ovate segments that spread and half-overlap. Its ribbed, shallow bowl-shaped corona is golden yellow, with a narrow, deeper-toned band at the rim when opening. Formerly known as 'Louise,' it was described in 1907 as carrying clusters of three or four flowers on two-foot stems.
