Ballistic

Description

Ballistic bears 100 mm flowers with deep yellow, roundish, smooth petaloid segments arranged in several whorls around strong orange corona segments. The overlapping outer whorls are flat to slightly concave with subtly pointed tips, while the progressively shorter inner whorls curve and fold inward. The corona segments are about one-third as long and wide as the petaloid segments, interspersed among them and increasingly crumpled toward the center; flowering is mid-season.
