Description

Bantam has 55 mm flowers with brilliant greenish-yellow, reflexed perianth segments that are roundish and blunt with tiny pointed tips, incurved margins, and half-overlapping edges. Its orange, bowl-shaped corona has a broad yellow basal zone, sometimes deepening at the rim, with a smooth or lightly ribbed surface, an expanded six-lobed mouth, and an entire or minutely crenate rim. This late-blooming daffodil has been described as a garden standout and received the 2024 Wister Award.
