Bebop

Description

Bebop has rounded, 36 mm flowers with a pale greenish-yellow perianth and a vivid yellow, disc-shaped, ribbed corona with a wavy mouth and finely crenate rim. The very broad, roundish perianth segments have tiny pointed tips, overlap by half or more, and curve slightly backward; the slightly narrower inner segments spread more fully. At maturity, the perianth pales and may become almost white, while the flowers are scented and carried on plants 4–6 inches tall; ‘Beebop’ is recorded as a synonym.
