Description

Berlin has rounded, 85 mm flowers with brilliant greenish-yellow perianth segments surrounding a vivid yellow corona broadly banded with orange at the lobe margins. The very broad, spreading, concave segments have small pointed tips, incurling margins and substantial overlap, while the inner segments are creased along the midrib. Its disc-shaped corona is heavily ribbed, very deeply six-lobed and tightly frilled, with overlapping lobes; flowering occurs in mid-season.
