Description
Bettina's Favorite produces three to six upward-facing, 54 mm flowers per stem, with medium-yellow perianth segments and a deep-yellow corona glowing orange at the center. The 21 mm segments are broadly ovate, blunt, spreading and heavily substanced, with creases, substantial overlap, and margins that are flat or slightly incurved. Its 8 mm, bowl-shaped, ribbed corona has a lightly frilled mouth and a slightly notched rim. Described as tall, late-blooming and sweetly scented, it belongs to Bill Welch's Friends Series and was named for his friend Bettina.
