Birthday Boy

Description

Birthday Boy has rounded flowers measuring 108 mm across. The 46 mm perianth segments are very broad, smooth and substantial, with rounded, mucronate tips and extensive overlap, while the 38 mm, funnel-shaped corona has a flared, wavy, lobed mouth and crenate rim. Its sunproof flowers bloom in mid-season, and the cultivar was named for Kevin Kerr, a dear friend, in celebration of his birthday.
