Bramcote Daybreak

Description

Bramcote Daybreak has 125 mm flowers with white perianth segments lightly yellow at the base and a smooth, yellow, funnel-shaped corona with a widely flared, even mouth and finely crenate rim. The spreading, lightly creased outer segments are ovate, blunt and small-pointed, with a heavy substance and substantial overlap; the inner segments are narrower and shouldered at the base, with less prominent points. It is recorded as late-blooming and tall, and forms part of Clive Postles’ “Bramcote” series.
