Bridal Crown

Description

Bridal Crown bears creamy-white, 40 mm flowers with petaloid segments arranged in several whorls. Rounded, crumpled inner whorls surround loosely clasped central segments, usually marked vivid yellow along the midrib, where the stained area lifts like a flap or spur. A very short, tightly frilled corona includes some detached segments interspersed among the petaloid segments, and the flowers are strongly scented.
