British Gamble

Description

British Gamble bears 150 mm, upward-facing flowers with 60 mm greenish-white perianth segments. The heavily textured, creased segments show a midrib and overlap substantially; the broad, spreading outer segments have blunt tips, while the inner segments are narrower and shouldered at the base. Its 60 mm, ribbed, funnel-shaped corona is pale yellowish pink with a yellow base and broad orange-pink rim band, ending in an expanded, wavy, lobed mouth with a notched, widely flanged rim. The strongly scented flowers bloom in mid-season.
