Description
Bronzewing bears 110 mm flowers with deep lemon-yellow perianth segments, each marked by a broad, nearly parallel-sided white band along the midrib. The very broadly ovate segments have blunt tips and square shoulders; they are spreading, smooth, plane, incurved at the margins, and overlap by half or more, while the inner segments are slightly narrower and inflexed. Its smooth, funnel-shaped corona opens to a ribbed, flared and frilled mouth, with a flanged rim that is irregularly notched and toothed; flowering is in mid-season.
