Description

C.J.Backhouse bears star-shaped flowers with a strong orange corona. The spreading perianth segments are ovate and pointed, with wavy margins that overlap by a quarter, while the corona is ribbed and ends in a straight, irregularly frilled mouth. The cultivar was named for the hybridizer’s eldest son, Charles James Backhouse.
