Description

Cascade Dawn bears three sweetly scented flowers per stem, each measuring 78 mm across. The smooth, substantial perianth segments are spreading and strongly overlapping, with narrower inner segments and oblong outer segments ending in blunt, small-pointed tips. Its 20 mm cup-shaped corona has a wavy, slightly flared mouth and an unbroken rim; it flowers in mid-season and was named for Cascade Valley in Fiordland National Park, New Zealand.
