2 Y-OLarge-cupped

Description

Ceylon bears 100 mm flowers with vivid yellow perianth segments, white tips, and a vivid orange corona. The broadly ovate, blunt segments are flat, overlapping, and spreading to slightly incurved, with a metallic sheen and visible midrib; the narrower inner segments are slightly creased and have gently wavy margins. The short, funnel-shaped corona is lightly frilled with a crenate rim, while its straight mouth is split and overlapping in places. It blooms in the early to mid-season, and its flowers are described as sunproof.
