Chanterelle

11A Y-YSplit-corona Collar

Description

Chanterelle bears scented, 85 mm flowers with a vivid yellow corona split to the base into six frilled, bilobed segments over a light greenish-yellow perianth. The broad, spreading perianth segments have square shoulders, prominent short points and incurved tips, overlapping by one-third to one-half; the inner segments turn slightly inward. Each corona segment is three-quarters as long as and closely overlies its corresponding perianth segment, with a finely ribbed, scalloped rim; the flowers bloom in mid-season, and the cultivar was described as more suited to forcing than ‘Flaneur’.
