Chile Verde

Description

Chile Verde bears 80 mm flowers whose perianth opens light greenish yellow before becoming yellow, surrounding an 8 mm, heavily ribbed, bowl-shaped corona marked green at the base and orange at the rim. The broad, rounded outer segments spread and overlap, while the narrower, blunt inner segments have slightly incurved margins; the corona mouth is slightly expanded and wavy, with a split rim that overlaps in places. It blooms from very early to early in the season.
