Description
Chinita has straw-yellow perianth segments around a ribbed, disc-shaped yellow corona, narrowly banded in red at an even or wavy rim. Its outer segments are very broad, blunt or truncate, prominently mucronate and slightly reflexed; the roundish inner segments are shouldered at the base and spread or turn slightly inward, sometimes with incurved margins. Flowers are borne one or two per stem.
