Doctor Alex Fleming

Description

Doctor Alex Fleming has rounded flowers centered by an orange, bowl-shaped corona with a deeply six-lobed, heavily frilled mouth and scalloped rim. The very broad, somewhat inward-curving perianth segments overlap by half or more and have pronounced pointed tips; the inner segments have subtler tips and sometimes wavy or recurved margins, while the corona mouth may expand widely over the perianth. Flowers are occasionally borne two to a stem.
