Double Entendre

Description

Double Entendre bears rounded, 78 mm flowers with several whorls of golden-yellow segments tipped by a pale mucro, while strong reddish-orange corona segments are interspersed among the inner whorls. The smooth, heavy outer segments are very broad, spreading and overlapping, while the inner whorls become progressively shorter and more deeply inflexed; the corona segments are half as long as the outer segments, frilled and increasingly crumpled toward the center. This dwarf-growing daffodil blooms in mid-season.
