Description

Electrus is distinguished by a rich orange-pink corona, green at the base and split into six segments that closely overlie the perianth for two-thirds of their length. The upward-facing flowers measure 98 mm across. Their broad, rounded, heavy-textured perianth segments have smooth, incurved margins, slightly reflexed tips, and substantial overlap. It blooms in mid-season, and the flowers are recorded as sunproof.
