Elka

Description

Elka has 33 mm, star-shaped flowers with narrowly ovate, spreading perianth segments, somewhat wavy margins, and slight overlap at the base. The perianth opens pale yellow and becomes white, while the corona changes from yellow to white. Its cylindrical, smooth corona has a ribbed, slightly expanded mouth with light frilling and a crenate rim. This dwarf, early-blooming plant is identified by its chromosome structure as a wild hybrid.
