Eystettensis

Description

Eystettensis bears 60 mm flowers in six regularly superimposed whorls, their ovate, acute segments forming graduated, pointed stars. The spreading outer whorl gives way to progressively shorter, narrower, and more strongly inflexed inner whorls. Its color has been recorded as clear pale sulfur yellow, lemon yellow, and pale creamy-yellow. Also known as Capax Plenus and Queen Anne's Double Daffodil, it was described by Bowles as being of mysterious origin.
