Gay Tabor

4 W-ODouble

Description

Gay Tabor has huge, rounded flowers 100 mm wide, with three or more whorls creating a gardenia-like form of layered greenish-white and ivory segments. The broad, spreading, concave outer segments overlap by half or more, while successive narrower inner whorls curve increasingly inward. Strong-orange corona segments, up to 12 mm long and frilled and notched, are interspersed among the inner petaloid segments. The strongly scented flowers bloom in mid-season.
