Glorious

Description

Glorious bears rounded, 65–70 mm flowers, two or three per stem, with a white perianth touched orange-yellow at the base and a shallow, ribbed, deep-orange corona darkening at the rim. Its broad outer segments are concave with incurled, overlapping margins, while the narrower inner segments are often twisted and more strongly incurled. It blooms in mid-season and is scented; historical accounts call it richly scented and very free flowering.
