Halvose

Description

Halvose bears two to three 45 mm flowers per stem, with clear yellow perianth segments flushed coppery orange at the base and a vermilion-orange corona. The broad, truncate segments have prominent pointed tips; they overlap and spread or turn slightly inward, with incurled margins, while the narrower, creased inner segments spread more fully. The ribbed, shallow bowl-shaped corona is deeply divided into three overlapping, wavy lobes.
