Havelock

2 Y-YLarge-cupped

Description

Havelock has pale primrose-yellow perianth segments touched with white at the apex, surrounding an orange-yellow corona. The broad, smooth outer segments have slightly incurving margins, while the narrower inner segments are slightly twisted; the widely expanding, funnel-shaped corona is ribbed, with a lightly frilled mouth and notched rim. It blooms in mid-season and was historically appraised as very large, borne on very tall, strong stems reported to withstand rough weather.
