Hillstar

Description

Hillstar has bright lemon-yellow perianth segments with broad white basal bands and an ivory-white corona shaded buff yellow at the base and clearer white at the rim. Its 68 mm flowers are borne two to three per stem. The broadly ovate segments spread or curve slightly back, while the short, broad, funnel-shaped corona has a flared, frilled mouth; it blooms in mid-season.
