Hyperbole

Description

Hyperbole bears 107 mm white flowers centered by a 32 mm, brick-red, funnel-shaped corona, lightly ribbed with a wavy mouth and an entire rim. Its broad, smooth outer segments are oblong, blunt, prominently mucronate, slightly reflexed, and overlapping, while the narrower inner segments are ovate and shouldered at the base. A mid-season bloomer, it was named for the cup’s “eye-popping” terracotta-to-nasturtium color.
