Inglescombe

Description

Inglescombe bears rounded, 70 mm flowers composed of many regularly superimposed whorls of light greenish-yellow petaloid segments. The broad, blunt or truncate segments spread flat and overlap in the outer whorls, while successive inner whorls become shorter and increasingly inflexed, with margins that may roll inward or recurve. Very small, darker-toned corona segments are interspersed among the petaloid segments, and flowering extends from mid-season to late.
