Inverpolly

2 W-WLarge-cupped

Description

Inverpolly has a 120 mm, greenish-white flower whose narrow, lightly ribbed, straight-sided corona opens buffy pink before soon becoming white. Its broad, blunt outer segments spread or curve slightly inward, while the narrower, pointed inner segments are more strongly inflexed; the corona mouth is straight and lightly frilled, with a crenate rim. Part of Lea's “Favorite Fishing Sites Series,” it was named after one of John Lea's favorite fishing sites in Scotland.
