Description

It's a Date has 98 mm flowers with white, spreading perianth segments that are flat or wavy, visibly midribbed, substantial, and overlapping by at least half. The 37 mm outer segments are roundish, very broad and blunt, with prominent pointed tips, while the inner segments are narrower and only faintly tipped. Its smooth, 27 mm corona forms a shallow bowl with an expanded, heavily frilled mouth and a notched, irregularly lobed rim. It blooms early.
