Itzim

Description

Itzim has deep yellow, ovate perianth segments with prominent pointed tips and a sharply reflexed form, surrounding a deep orange-red, cylindrical, loosely ribbed corona with an irregularly toothed rim. Compared with ‘Jetfire’, it is described as taller, with narrower perianth segments and a larger corona. It blooms in the early to mid-season, and its name is an anagram of ‘Mitzi’, the name first chosen for the daffodil.
