Kaydee

Description

Kaydee pairs a pure white perianth with a short, cylindrical, lightly ribbed corona in fiery pink; its widely expanded, even mouth has a shallowly crenate rim. The glistening outer segments are broadly ovate, blunt, prominently mucronate and reflexed, overlapping by one-third; they may lie flat or have incurved margins, while the narrower inner segments are twisted. It blooms in mid-season and belongs to the Duncan “Family and Friends” Series; its name comes from the initials of Brian Duncan’s daughter, Karen Duncan.
