Kokopelli

7 Y-YJonquilla

Description

Kokopelli bears two to four rounded, 37 mm flowers per stem, with brilliant greenish-yellow perianth segments and a darker yellow corona. The very broad, somewhat spoon-shaped segments spread or reflex around a lightly ribbed, bowl-shaped corona that opens green at the base before becoming yellow. The source records that the daffodil was named for Kokopelli, identified there as the Anasazi fertility god.
