Lady Madonna

Description

Lady Madonna has a 110 mm flower forming a distinctive double triangle. The perianth opens light yellow-orange, then becomes greenish white while retaining a light yellow-orange flush at the base; the corona likewise changes from light yellow-orange to white, developing a yellowish green-brown basal flush. Its ovate, round-tipped perianth segments are reflexed with wavy margins and heavy substance, surrounding a 40 mm, funnel-shaped, ribbed corona with a lightly frilled mouth and crenate rim. It blooms early.
