Lakeland Poet

Description

Lakeland Poet forms a double triangle centered by a red, disk-shaped corona with a narrow darker-toned band at the rim. Its smooth, heavy-textured perianth segments overlap by half or more; they are broadly ovate, spreading and truncate, with pointed tips and margins that may be plane, slightly wavy or incurved near the apex, while the inner segments are narrower and scarcely pointed. The corona has a ribbed, wavy mouth and crenate rim, and the flower blooms very late.
