Loch Hope

Description

Loch Hope has 100 mm-wide flowers with brilliant greenish-yellow perianth segments surrounding a vivid orange corona. The broad, blunt segments spread with minutely incurled margins and substantial overlap; the inner segments are slightly narrower and inflexed, while the short, cylindrical, loosely ribbed corona ends in a straight, frilled mouth. An early-blooming member of Lea’s “Favorite Fishing Sites Series,” it was named for one of John Lea’s favorite fishing sites in Scotland.
