Description

Manly bears 50 mm flowers with greenish-yellow petaloid segments arranged in several whorls, interspersed with shorter, strong-orange corona segments. The broadly oval, prominently pointed segments overlap by at least half; the outer whorls are flat and spreading or slightly turned inward, while successive inner whorls become shorter, more concave and increasingly inflexed, culminating in a tightly incurled centre. It blooms in mid-season.
