Merthan

Description

Merthan has rounded, 90 mm flowers with very broad, smooth, spreading perianth segments of heavy substance, shouldered at the base and ending in squared-off tips with tiny points; these tip features are less pronounced on the inner segments. The closely ribbed, disc-shaped corona has a wavy, overlapping mouth, split or folded in places, and a finely notched, scalloped rim; the sweetly scented flowers bloom late.
