Description

Modern Art has rounded, 90 mm flowers with whitish-yellow perianth segments. The very broad, overlapping outer segments have prominent pointed tips and spread or curve slightly backward; the equally broad inner segments have subtler tips, surrounding a broad, shallow corona that is often split to the base into deeply two-lobed, tightly frilled sections, with many shorter growths beneath. It blooms late, and its flowers are sunproof.
