Monal

Description

Monal bears 108 mm flowers with rich golden-yellow perianth segments, each tipped by a slight white point, surrounding a deep orange-red corona. The broad, overlapping outer segments are spreading, concave and somewhat creased, while the narrower inner segments curve slightly inward and show stronger creasing; the funnel-shaped corona has a straight, lightly frilled mouth and a scalloped rim, and the flowers bloom early.
