Mrs Alfred Pearson

8 W-YTazetta

Description

Mrs Alfred Pearson was described in 1907 as bearing four or five large, dainty, star-shaped flowers per stem, with pure white perianths and orange-yellow cups. A 1937 account instead noted generous clusters with white perianths and pale-primrose cups, and called it excellent for the rock garden. The same account described it as a new type originating from a cross between a Leedsi and a Polyanthus.
