Mulatto

Description

Mulatto has sulfur-yellow flowers with broad, smooth, blunt perianth segments that overlap by half and curve inward minutely at their slightly pointed tips. The narrower inner segments are inflexed and slightly twisted, while the corona is ribbed toward its expanded, lobed and frilled mouth, with a crenate, slightly flanged rim and a paler interior. ‘Mulattin’ is recorded as a synonym.
