Description
Poet's Way has an almost disc-shaped, tightly ribbed corona, yellow with green at the base and a deep-red band around its finely crenate rim. Its very broad, half-overlapping outer perianth segments are acute, slightly mucronate and slightly reflexed, while the narrower inner segments spread more fully. A late bloomer, it has larger flowers and a more obviously reflexed perianth than 'Cantabile'. A 1977 Rathowen catalog reported it as a sibling of 'Poet's Wings'.
