Popeye

Description

Popeye has 113 mm, upward-facing flowers of double-triangular form, with yellowish-white perianth and petaloid segments surrounding a cup doubled in several whorls. The outer corona whorl is 35 mm long, brilliant yellow with a light greenish-yellow base, and cylindrical, opening into a flanged, wavy, irregularly lobed mouth; lighter inner whorls are tightly clustered, folded, and slightly frilled. It blooms early and is sweetly scented.
