Princess Mary

Description

Princess Mary has creamy-white perianth segments surrounding a shallow, very widely expanded, strongly ribbed yellow corona suffused with scarlet-orange, with a wavy mouth and dentate rim. The broad, blunt outer segments spread with slight creasing, prominent points, and one-quarter overlap, while the narrower inner segments have wavy or incurving margins. Recorded synonyms include ‘Fitzjames’, ‘Incomparabilis Pallidus ‘Princess Mary’’, and ‘Princess Mary of Cambridge’.
