Professor Einstein

Description

Professor Einstein has rounded flowers with a pure white perianth and a very broad, scarlet-red, disc-shaped corona. Its glistening, thick-textured perianth segments are very broad, prominently pointed at the tip, and overlap by half, while the closely ribbed corona has a finely scalloped rim with occasional notches. It blooms in mid-season and was named in honor of theoretical physicist Professor Albert Einstein.
