Rataplan

Description

Rataplan has vivid yellow, reflexed perianth segments and a broad, angled, funnel-shaped orange corona, narrowly banded with yellow at the margins and split halfway into six well-separated oblong lobes. The 27 mm, ovate, blunt segments have a slight white mucro, a showing midrib, heavy substance, and one-quarter to one-third overlap; their margins are plane or slightly wavy, while the inner segments are slightly narrower and scarcely mucronate. The 24 mm corona has a straight, even mouth with an entire rim, and the plant has a dwarf habit and an early bloom season.
